The National Service in Mount Holly is giving you a heads up now that it's going to be a long hot holiday weekend. They say even though the forecast is calling for temperatures in the 80's through Tuesday, they say the combined heat and humidity is going to make it feel above 100 degrees with the hottest days on Monday and Tuesday.

Officials say usually temperatures in the 80's are no big deal but because it's early and our bodies aren't used to it, it could cause problems especially in the very young, the elderly and medically ill.

They're also saying night time low temperatures may not drop much below 70.
