Home Invasion Arrests Include Homeowner

The home invasion robbery of an alleged drug dealer has resulted in multiple arrests.

Six suspects have been apprehended over the past several weeks in connection with the December 28 incident, and one of the homeowners was arrested for drug possession and distribution.

Three assailants reportedly forced their way into the home of a Sussex County couple, where they bound the female's feet with zip-ties, covered her with a bed sheet, and held her at gunpoint. They made off with $500 cash and jewelry.

State Troopers responding to the scene observed marijuana in plain view and noticed the scent of marijuana throughout the home, according to a press release from the State Police. A more detailed search led to the discovery of cocaine, $12,000 cash, and drug paraphernalia.
