Have you ever lost something you cannot replace ?

I recently lost something that I can't replace and I feel sick about ........

I recently lost my "Celtic" ring, Ive had it for years and although it wasnt a real expensive piece of jewelry, it was worth alot to me. Have you ever lost something that will be hard to replace ?

Don't get me wrong I do know "material" things are replaceable and our friends and family are not...but there are some things in life we like that are "material" and hold memories, milestones, and achievements to them.

Ive looked everywhere for this "ring" but have come up short! and for my fellow Catholics I've even put in a word to St. Anthony for help :(

Isn't it so frustrating when you loose something your used to seeing and/or feeling everyday! I still find myself reaching for my empty ring hand and finding it missing all over again!

That being said...still miss that thing !

So here's my questions for you listeners:

What have you lost ( material items ) that were hard to replace ?
Did you eventually find your item ?
Did you replace it ? and if you did ... did you get something as simliar as possible or go a different direction ? ( In my case, I think I have to find another Irish/Celtic style ring )

I'm going to search a few more days before giving up and getting a new ring , I'll have to see my jewerly expert Biele Jewelers , I'll keep you posted :( ~ Shawniemikes
