Tomorrow is a big day for Ocean County with our 30th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade rolling through Seaside Heights. Some may be concerned about what traffic may be like, but Ocean County officials have been working hard on plans to alleviate highway headaches. Read on for more information...

The Brick Township Police Department has released a number of details on plans for Route 35 as well as 37 on Saturday. Some efforts to ease traffic include:

Beginning at 1pm, Hamilton Avenue in Seaside Heights will be converted into two lanes westbound only and they will continue all the way to Pelican Island where the highway expands to three lanes.

Temporary traffic signals will be in place on parade day to help with the flow of traffic, and there have been a number of projects undertaken to make traffic on Route 35 and Route 37 flow more smoothly for tomorrow's festivities.

Obviously, this is a popular event so it's always a good idea to leave yourself a little extra travel time, but officials have been working hard to make the trip as easy as possible.

We'll see you there tomorrow!
