Whether it's their very first time or a day they wait every year for, seeing dogs play in the snow never gets old. Some love it, some hate it, some attack it! Check out some South Jersey pups who made the most out of 2022's first snowfall.

It's not really a ton of snow, but the history books say there is a chance we will set a record today.

It is the first week of January and our new year 2022 and it's our second snowstorm of the season here in Ocean County.

Residents who rent or rent out homes in Toms River that were damaged by Superstorm Sandy requiring rebuilds are being told to elevate their structure by FEMA who is reportedly using outdated maps and information.

So something I have noticed lately when it comes to weather here at the Jersey Shore, a mile can make a world of difference. Our weather here in Ocean County can have different looks and all within miles of each other.

Since 1994, Coastal Habitat For Humanity has changed the lives of hundreds of families throughout Monmouth County. For example, the organization has completed 18 single-family home construction projects, repaired over 40 homes impacted by Superstorm Sandy, and renovated 190 homes through the Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative. They simply do incredible things, and now we have the opportunity to not only help them but we can also help our veterans!!

This storm is dropped anywhere from six to twelve inches of snow, mainly in Southern Ocean County…..for us here in the Ocean-Monmouth area.

For those keeping track, at 2 PM Sunday, it was 62 degrees at Atlantic City Int'l Airport in Egg Harbor Township. Less than 24 hours later, there's nearly a foot of snow on the ground.

It was roughly about two years ago that South Jersey was going nuts over something that seemed to look like a fireball falling from the sky.

There are plows are out across the county especially in the southern end in towns south of Lacey like Barnegat, Little Egg Harbor/Tuckerton and LBI among others.
