A Burlington County woman faces three counts of attempted murder and child endangerment charges after allegedly trying to kill her three teenagers. The County Prosecutor's office says Joann Smith of Florence Township drove on a boat ramp and accelerated into the Delaware River last night. A bystander helped rescue the woman and her kids ages 15, 14 and 13, from the partially submerged vehicle.

One of the teens sustained cuts to a leg. Smith was taken to a medical facility for evaluation. Her bail is set at $600,000 and she's scheduled for a first appearance at the Burlington County Superior Court in Mount Holly Thursday Afternoon.
