Brick Police Snag Alleged Knife Point Robbery Suspect

A Brick Township 38-year-old is under arrest in connection with the Christmas-Eve knife point holdup at a township gas station. Police say that surveillance video led them to Patrick Dalesandro of Cottonwood Drive, who's charged with first-degree armed robbery and weapons counts. He's accused of ripping off the attendant after having his tank filled at the Shell on Lanes Mill Road.

Dalesandro is in the Ocean County Jail on $300,000 bail with no 10 percent option.

Detectives Robert Shepherd, Gregory Mullarkey and Thomas Cooney are investigating the case.
