Allegations of TRN Prom Chaperones Drinking Alcohol

Toms River Schools Superintendent David M. Healy has confirmed to Townsquare Media News an investigation is underway into whether chaperones for the Toms River High School North prom Friday night were drinking alcohol.

Healy said none of the chaperones were seen drinking alcohol, but that it was brought to his attention that one or more of them were suspected of having been drinking.

Healy stressed his Administration does not condone any such behavior, and that if in fact determined to be the case, would take whatever disciplinary action necessary.
