Discovery Of Body In Manchester Pond Not Considered Suspicious

The discovery of a body in a Manchester lake early Thursdsay morning is not considered suspicious is not considered suspicious.

The body of 63-year-old Maryann Denny was found in a lake off Route 571 near the Cedar Glen Recreational Center says Ocean County Prosecutor Marelene Lynch Ford. Manchester Police were called around 10:15PM Wednesday night after Denny had not been seen for several hours and her whereabouts unknown.

Fire and police searched the area and discovered Denny's body in the lake. There were no signs of foul play and her death does not appear to have occured under suspicious circumstances.
