Pet of the Week
Mia is our Pet of the Week..one of our many friends at the Popcorn Park Rescue Zoo ready for a forever home.
Mamma Mia! Have you seen our stunning girl Mia? She is a gorgeous 3 year old pittie girl that would absolutely love a wonderful home of her own. Mia came to us from our Newark facility when she was turned in because her family was no longer able to care for her. Mia came bouncing off the van with tail a waggin' and smiling from ear to ear. She's obviously put her former life in the past, and is looking forward toward a happy new future. Mia is very outgoing, friendly, and puppyish. She has a lot of energy and is playful and curious. While out for a walk, she is very good on the leash and stops every so often to look all around her, and check out her surroundings. She spotted a statue of a dog from across the walking path and once she got over to it, she walked up to it very gently and licked it's head! Mia is loving and affectionate, and makes friends easily. She gets along well with some dogs and Mia would make a perfect addition to any good family that promises to love and care for her the way she deserves.
