I am so excited to announce the next adventure in my life. I am so thrilled that it is going to be with, in my opinion, the greatest radio station in America — along with the greatest listeners in America, too.

It seems like just yesterday that I was a young tike in Berkeley Township Elementary School (BTES), on the bus, and super excited that we had a special guest — that guest would be Kevin Williams. It all starts there. He came in to talk about what he does on the radio, and he took questions. Soon after, I started doing the morning announcements for school — and the rest is history.

I have been listening to 92.7 WOBM since I was a young boy, and ever since then, I wanted to have a regular shift on the station. When I was hired in 2013, at the very young age of fifteen, I made it a point to do everything that I could to get on the air. It was my dream.

With the help of some of the greatest people on the radio, I started working overnights on 92.7 WOBM from 12 am — 5 am. It was very hard — but a little secret… I wasn't actually in the studio at those times (don't tell my boss that I told you that).

Speaking of my "boss," … I owe him a lot. I put boss in quotations because the number of times that this guy has had my back in the last seven years, it would almost be insulting not to call him my mentor — and a dear friend. Justin Louis, afternoon dude and Assistant Program Director of 92.7 WOBM, saw something in me when I was a weird teenager — and he worked with me every step of the way to help me get where I am today… for that, I am eternally grateful.

I also have to mention two other HUGE influences in my life growing up. Shawn & Sue. When I grew up, I would always pass the S&S billboard going into Lacey Township, and I would ask my mom, "do you think they are nice in person?" — it turns out they were that and so much more. They both could not be nicer when I started working at the station, especially during my "mess-ups" while running the board for them during the boardwalk broadcasts. They have been so helpful, and always had my back, and for that, I am so grateful.

I'm not trying to name drop or be a suck-up. I really feel this way. It's funny, about a week ago, I mentioned in a meeting with all of my coworkers that they are my "home away from home" — and I meant it.

I also have to give a huge shoutout and "thank you" to JB Wilde for giving me this opportunity. JB has only been with Shore stations for a few months, but he saw something in me from the beginning. I made it a point to tell him, through my tears, that he made a young guy's dream come true. Thank you for everything, JB.

This job, this station, this company — means so much to me. With all of that being said, I am so proud to announce that I will be your new Evening Host/Personality/Dude on 92.7 WOBM from 8:00 pm until 12:00 am, Monday through Friday.

Enough with this sappy stuff, I have a show to prep for. Before I get on the air, I will leave you off with a quote that is near and dear to my heart. This quote has always helped me guide the way and see the positives:

"Nobody in life gets exactly what they want — but if you work really hard, and you are kind, amazing things will happen… that I promise you." — Conan O'Brien

Thank you for everything, Ocean County.
