A month-long probe of illicit prescription pill flow in Toms River leads police to a hefty heap of them. And police say that a Beachwood man found with some heroin two weeks ago was found with a lot more three days later.

Reports were yesterday as of June 8th, 2015 that the last of the tenants were out at the Beachwood Shopping Center.  The utilities have been turned off according to Berkeley Patch and the redevelopers are ready to go.  Wow, I can't believe it!

Pre-Demoliton Work Begins at Beachwood Shopping Center

First steps begin in what's expected to be a long process in removing the Beachwood Shopping Center in Berkeley Township. Mayor Carmen Amato Jr. said owner Priscilla Oughton is in the process of pre-demolition work and has hired a contractor for the Route 9 site.
