In a summer marred by drownings, a 22-year-old man's death in a Brielle swimming pool early Tuesday extends the tragedies.

Police did not release the victim's identity, saying only that he was a house guest.

It's being called the most successful gun buyback program in the history of New Jersey.

For 2 days at the end of last week 4 thousand 775 handguns, shotguns, rifles and assault weapons were collected by cops in Camden, Trenton and Newark.
