14 people were arrested and warrants have been issued for four others in connection to an alleged drug trafficking ring in the Bayshore area of Monmouth County.

Acting Prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni says the bust is the result of an eight-month investigation called "Operation Family Tides," which focused on heroin distribution in Monmouth and Middlesex Counties.  Several of the people arrested are members of the same family.

Those arrested are:

  • Terrence "T9" Brown, 37, of Cliffwood
  • Edward "Head" Gutridge, II, 29, of Cliffwood
  • Halee Wing, 36, of East Orange
  • Isaiah "Zeke" Edwards, 25, of Old Bridge
  • Raymond "Hood" Jackson, 30, of Keyport
  • Bianca Edwards, 22, of Old Bridge
  • Joseph "Rule" Jackson, Jr., 43, of Matawan
  • Krystal Mell, 26, of Keansburg
  • Jessica German, 21, of New York City
  • Timothy Davidson, 38, of Old Bridge
  • Alina Alma, 24, of New York City
  • Ryan Murphy, 26, of Cliffwood Beach
  • Jason Remp, 21, of Hazlet
  • James Mitchell, 57, of Keansburg

Brown, Gutridge, and Wing are accused of being the ringleaders of the group, along with Gregory "IA' Moore, 33, of Cliffwood, for whom a warrant has been issued.  The four are charged with leading a narcotics trafficking network, conspiracy to possess a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, drug possession with intent to distribute, and drug distribution.  Gutridge and Jessica German are also charged with possession of a firearm in the course of committing a drug offense.

Isaiah Edwards, Raymond Jackson, Bianca Edwards, Joseph Jackson, Jr., and Krystal Mell are accused of distributing the drugs.  They are charged with conspiracy to possess drugs with intent to distribute, drug possession, drug distribution, and drug possession with intent to distribute.

Timothy Davidson and Alina Alma, along with Gutridge and Wing, were charged in connection to the processing and packaging of heroin for sale.

Ryan Murphy, Jason Remp, and James Mitchell are accused of attempting to buy heroin from the alleged ring.  They are charged with conspiracy to possess drugs and drug possession.

Also charged with conspiracy and drug possession are:

  • Christine Owens, 44, of West Keansburg in Hazlet
  • Shannon Lecomte, 21, of Keansburg
  • Taheem Brown, 22, of Cliffwood Beach
