I was just thinking recently that with winter here it would be nice to go out to breakfast and have a delicious "french toast" breakfast. Haven't gone out for french toast in a while so it would be nice to enjoy a stack of french toast and a hot cup of coffee.

When it comes to "french toast" my favorite way is simple, butter and good maple syrup, that's it. Plain and simple with butter and good maple syrup, not that fake sugary syrup. I know some people like powdered sugar, but I'm not a fan. Some like jelly on theirs, I'd prefer fresh fruit.
