You’re Not Too Late (Or Too Old) To See “Frozen”

As it approaches time for tonight's free movie on the beach in Seaside Heights, I have a message for anyone who has NOT yet seen Disney's "Frozen:"   If you want to enjoy a film with a nice story and memorable music, go see it!  (You can read more about the summer movie series here http://wobm.com/the-2016-seaside-heights-movie-on-the-beach-schedule-2/?trackback=blogroll_widget-on-air.)

Though "Frozen" came out in 2013, I only just got around to seeing it over the weekend.  The DVD sat on the shelf for a while.  With encouragement from my 19 year old niece who was visiting, we watched and enjoyed the film very much.

It's the kind of movie that has something for everyone.  It touches on family and romantic love, teamwork, and has some action/adventure moments too.  While the butt of many jokes, the song "Let It Go" fits in to the film in a beautiful way.  The other songs were quite enjoyable as well.  "Fixer Upper" and "Love Is An Open Door" might stay stuck in your head because they're so catchy.

If you missed boarding the "Frozen" bandwagon as I did, it's not too late to jump on. Whether you watch it on the beach tonight, or from the comfort of your couch, I think you'll enjoy, and will finally understand what the hype was all about.
