Will You Try this New Girl Scout Cookie Flavor?

This is not a drill - the Girl Scouts are debuting a new cookie flavor next January!

My friend and fellow cookie enthusiast, Nicole Murray from 94.3 the Point, dished that the Girl Scouts are coming out with a new French Toast flavored cookie for 2021. People Magazine tweeted a sneak peek of the cookie, check it out below:

Get this: the cookies are called "Toast-Yay" and People writes that it's a play on words of "Toasty" (so kind of like toast-ay) and I am obsessed. At first, I was a bit confused about how a French Toast flavored cookie would taste, but after reading the description, I'm loving it:

Toast-Yay! cookies, inspired by the breakfast favorite, are shaped like mini toast slices and dipped in a rich icing.

I'm willing to bet there's going to be some sort of cinnamon-y goodness in there somewhere too! We'll have to wait until January to find out.

If you're concerned about how you'll be able to purchase Toast-Yays and other Girl Scout cookies, fear not! Currently, the Girl Scouts have an online ordering system in place, and People Magazine says that they are working on a plan for 2021 - like "virtual cookie booths" and socially distant cookie sales and deliveries. There will still be cookies for all!
