It's been just under two years since Rivoli's on Fisher Boulevard in Toms River closed suddenly.

Rivoli's was of course well known locally for their humongous portions, and known nationally as being the eatery of choice for the Jersey Shore cast.

Well, this week marks a new chapter for 781 Fischer Blvd as White Rooster officially cuts the ribbon on Toms River's first Cuban restaurant.

Just yesterday, the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce announced the occasion on their official Facebook page:

Attentive drivers actually had an idea that White Rooster was coming for a while, the first hint at the new eatery actually showed up on the old Rivoli's electronic sign at the beginning of last year.

So, welcome to the neighborhood, White Rooster, and best of luck!
