Sometimes the hustle and bustle of a Jersey Shore workday can have some really beneficial side effects. That's what happened yesterday when I stumbled onto a really terrific cafe right in Toms River.

I had a few appointments that kept me busy most of the morning and as I drove along Route 37 I was scanning to grab a quick lunch at a place that might have something on the healthy side on their menu.

As I was driving along, I saw the word "cafe" in my peripheral vision and quickly got off the road. The sign looked really cool, so I thought I'd give it a try. That sign said "The Crazy Baker Cafe".

As soon as I walked in, I knew it was going to be a place I really liked. There's a warm inviting feeling as soon as you walk in, and the sayings on the wall say it all. It's all about family at The Crazy Baker Cafe.

And then when I placed my order, I asked to see the person in charge so I could share how much I loved the place already, and it turned out to be John Skulite.

There is a lot of passion that's been put into this adorable place. The food is fresh and really amazing, and there are some standout things on the menu, too. For example, never miss the opportunity to have one of their amazing muffins.

So, good luck to John and the gang at The Crazy Baker Cafe. They only opened about a month ago, so if you haven't given them a try, stop in today. I think you'll love it, too.
