POAC Autism Services, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is making a difference today for every child with autism in our state of New Jersey.
POAC hosts hundreds of events for the autism community including training for parents and educators; recreational and support services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families; and training for police and first responders which is saving the lives of children with autism.

My stepson is autistic. My husband, his son, my daughter, and I will all be there on this special day raising money for this great cause. My family always tries to raise money and be a part of POAC functions. Just like this walk that's coming up on Saturday, June 26th, 2021.

Last year was a tough year for all nonprofit organizations, that's why this year is so important to help out with what we can. Director Gary is amazing and this is the truth of what it says on their website: "I often refer to POAC as a family, for that is what we truly are.  And if you are reading this, you are a vital part of our family, of my family.  The Mantra of POAC is “Making Lives Better Every Day.”

This is what they do, they help people and change thousands of families and children's lives each year.

Their Annual Walk-A-Thon raises money for communities in New Jersey. The Walk For A Difference is a great family fun day with inflatable rides, entertainment, and fun for the whole family.

Join a team or start a team of your own by clicking here. The fabulous walk will take place once again Saturday, June 26th, 2021 starting at 11 am at First Energy Park, Home of the Jersey Shore BlueClaws in Lakewood.

All funds raised from this event will stay right in New Jersey to provide autism education for parents and teachers, recreational events for children and adults with autism, and training for law enforcement and other first responders throughout the state.
