POAC (Parents of Autistic Children) is a 501(c)3 non-profit based in Brick. They offer training and support services for families and other service providers who are connected to autism. They also support research and hold fun, free events for kids and adults on the autism spectrum.

Coming up on Saturday, April 23rd is the 2016 POAC Walk at First Energy Park, Home of the Lakewood BlueClaws at 2 Stadium Way in Lakewood. Registration starts at 11a.m., and the walk kicks off at noon.

In addition to the money raised for POAC, which helps support the autism community right here at the Jersey Shore, walkers also have the chance to receive incentive prizes for reaching fundraising goals. (You could earn an iPod or a FitBit Charge HR!)

It's a great organization that really does help families, so join the walk if you can!

To register for the walk, visit poacwalk.org.
