Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to have gone to many local summer shows, and it's always a fun time. When you see folks relaxing and having a good time, it's a refreshing break these days and times.

Thanks to the Ocean County Parks and Rec Department for putting together these shows for residents at Veterans Park in Berkeley Township this year.

Veterans Park in Berkeley Township (489 Forest Hills Parkway) has been a local favorite for generations. Built as the township grew over the years, the park became a go-to spot for sports, playgrounds, walks, and community events. Named to honor local veterans, it’s one of those classic Jersey hometown parks where families gather, kids play ball, and neighbors catch up on summer evenings.

• Wednesday, July 1st: Super TransAm 7:30 pm
• Wednesday, July 15th: Austin City Nights 7:30 pm
• Saturday, August 1st: Alotta Colada 4-8 pm
• Wednesday, August 12th: Step By Step 7:30 pm
• Wednesday, August 26th: Garden State Radio 7:30 pm

So get set for a fun summer with lots of great local music at Veterans Park in Berkeley Township. Come out, kick back, have a snack, and enjoy music under the stars. It's a fun time for everyone in Ocean County.
