(2) Marlboro 78, (15) Central 51 - Watch

Senior Jack Seidler led four Marlboro players in double-figure scoring with 24 points and the Mustangs (20-2) grounded the Golden Eagles (14-8) to make it back to the final eight of the Shore Conference Tournament for the third time in five seasons and fourth in the last six including last year's postseason run.

Senior Jonathan Spatola added 18 points, while senior Zach Molod poured in 15 and senior Vin Spatola contributed 10 for Marlboro, which will face No. 7 Jackson Memorial in Sunday's quarterfinal round at Middletown South.

Senior Justin Soranno led Central with 19 points, sophomore Miles Chevalier added 15 and senior Anthony Musso chipped in 10 in the loss.

(6) CBA 50, (11) Raritan 45 - Watch

Sophomore Peter Noble went off for 23 points and came up with a crucial steal in the final minute to help the Colts (16-5) close out the Rockets (15-7) and reach the SCT quarterfinals.

Junior Will Bradley added 11 points for CBA, which had to battle back from a 38-34 deficit with 4:30 to play in order to survive a scare from the Rockets.

Senior Justin Rivera led Raritan with 13 points while junior Jack O'Leary and senior Tyzaya Smith each chipped in eight in the loss.

(8) Manchester 56, (9) Brick Memorial 39 - Watch

Senior D'Maari Brown led four Manchester players in double-figures with 14 points and the Hawks (18-4) took over in the second half to eliminate the Mustangs (17-5) and reach the SCT quarterfinals for the first time since 2003-04.

Senior Savon Myers, senior Amari Petty and junior Evan Weiner each added 12 points for Manchester, which outscored Brick Memorial, 37-20, in the second half after the two teams entered the locker room tied, 19-19.

Manchester moves on to face top-seeded Red Bank Catholic in the SCT quarterfinals Sunday at Middletown South.

Senior Luke Braaten led Brick Memorial with a game-high 18 points.

(7) Jackson Memorial 76, (10) Holmdel 72 (2 OT) - Watch

Junior Samir Padilla scored 24 points and classmates Respect Tyleek and Keith Adame sparked a furious fourth-quarter comeback and overtime push that carried the Jaguars (17-5) past the Hornets (14-9) and into the SCT quarterfinals for the first time since 2014.

Tyleek scored 11 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter and overtime and Adame scored all 14 of his during the same stretch, with Jackson Memorial outscoring Holmdel, 17-4, in the fourth quarter to erase a 51-38 deficit through three.

Senior Steven Bado also scored 11 points for Jackson Memorial, which will take on No. 2 Marlboro Sunday in the quarterfinal round at Middletown South.

Sophomore Ben Kipnis scored 22 points to lead Holmdel, while classmates Nick Seeloch and James Vallillo each added 17. Freshman Evan Romano also netted 14 points in the loss.

(3) Rumson-Fair Haven 64, (14) Freehold Twp. 49 - Watch

Senior Scott Gyimesi posted a double-double and classmate Geoff Schroeder hit four of Rumson-Fair Haven's 14 three-pointers on the way to 18 points and a Bulldogs (17-2) win over the Patriots (13-9).

Gyimesi finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds, which helped offset 16 points from junior counterpart Jayden Holmes-Cotter, who led Freehold Township for the game.

Senior Cal Famula added 11 points and senior Trent Sloan poured in nine on three three-pointers for Rumson-Fair Haven.

Junior Malachi Harris pitched in 11 points and senior Ryan Keegan poured in 10 for Freehold Township, which had to contend with a 37-18 halftime deficit.

(5) Manasquan 52, (12) Ranney 38 - Watch

Sophomore Ryan Frauenheim led a balanced scoring effort with 13 points and freshman Griffin Linstra led the defensive effort as the Warriors (19-4) handled the Panthers (17-4) to reach the official SCT quarterfinal round for the 10th straight season -- 11th including the unofficial Shore Conference Playoffs in 2021.

Frauenheim also added four assists, while Linstra led the defensive effort against Ranney leading scorer Isaac Hester, who finished with 10 points on 4-for-13 shooting.

Senior Matt Solomon also contributed 12 points and eight rebounds and freshman Darius Adams also scored 12 for Manasquan, which will face No. 13 Donovan Catholic Sunday in the SCT quarterfinals at Middletown South.

Senior T.J. Braswell-Brown led Ranney with 11 points.

(1) Red Bank Catholic 71, (17) Howell 45 - Watch

Senior Alex Bauman scored 21 of his season-high 25 points in the first half and the Caseys (20-3) clobbered the Rebels (11-9) to reach the Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinals for the third straight season.

Bauman scored 12 in the first quarter, during which RBC seized control of the game with a 26-6 lead through the first eight minutes.

Senior Cyril Arvanitis added 12 points and senior C.J. Ruoff and sophomore Gioacchino Panzini each chipped in eight for Red Bank Catholic, which also played in the eight-team championship pod of the 2021 Shore Conference Playoffs, making it four straight seasons that the Caseys have made it to the final eight of a Shore Conference Tournament, official or unofficial.

Senior Nick Gallo led Howell with 17 points.

(13) Donovan Catholic 74, (4) St. John Vianney 67 (OT) - Watch

Senior Dan Schwartz scored a team-high 18 points on six three-pointers, including the go-ahead three with 43 seconds left in overtime that delivered the Griffins (16-6) an upset of the Lancers (19-6) and their first trip to the SCT quarterfinal round since 2010.

Senior Kyree Drake posted 16 points and eight assists, including a dish to senior Nunes Bukula for the game-tying layup with four seconds left in regulation. Drake also went 4-for-4 from the free-throw line in overtime, while Bukula posted 12 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter and overtime.

Senior Alex Melon chipped in 11 points and six assists while senior Jalin Butler factored in with six points, nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocks for Donovan Catholic.

Senior Nate Williams scored 21 of his game-high 25 points after halftime to lead St. John Vianney, which overcame a five-point deficit in the last 1:25 of the fourth quarter and even took a 59-57 lead with 18 seconds left on a drive by senior Omar Calderon, who finished with 19 points.

Donovan Catholic advances to take on No. 5 Manasquan in the SCT quarterfinals Sunday at Middletown South.
