Toms River Girls will face Sango, Japan from the Kinki Little League. Sango beat the Philippines to advance to the Little League Softball World Series.

The game is Sunday, August 2nd at 1 pm and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2

Sango is about 5 hours Southwest of Tokyo. This is the second consecutive time a team from Japan has qualified for the Little League Softball World Series.

Last year, the Little League Softball World Series championship was won by West Suburban Little League from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The team defeated Indiana 1-0 in the title game, bringing home Pennsylvania's first championship in the tournament in nearly 50 years.
