Clementon Park & Splash World is adding four new throwback rides to their amusement park this year.

The reason for the addition is to celebrate it's 112th year in business. By the way that means the park opened back in 1907. Holy s*!%!

Wow, talk about nostalgic. Believe it or not, Clementon Park & Splash World is one of the oldest continuously-operating amusement parks in the country. That's pretty awesome.

So, what the reason behind adding these retro rides exactly. Well, the parks spokeswoman Debbie Evans explained via nj.com, “We wanted to throw it back with four classic amusement park rides. These four old fashion rides have been around decades. We were looking for a balanced, mixed appeal for families and younger children.”

Very cool concept. The four rides that will be added are, a twisting Dragon Coaster, Scrambler, Tilt-A-Whirl and of course the infamous Pirate Ship.

The park believes these throwback rides will complement the parks new features perfectly.
