This Handsome Fellow Will be Your Best Friend-Pet of the Week

Wolverine's been waiting for his forever home for a long time.

Wolverine has been with Popcorn Park Rescue Shelter longer than any other cat, and he would love to know what it's like to have a great home of his own. He came to them back in October, 2013, when he was a kitten that was found as a stray. You may wonder why he wasn't adopted back then, but not all kittens are immediately outgoing and ready to be held and cuddled by everyone they meet. Wolverine was quite shy at first, so he needed lots of one-on-one attention from his caretaker. He came out of his shell and blossomed into a loving, sweet, well-adjusted cat, but he's been overlooked time and time again. Wolverine lives in a free-roaming area with other cats, but he basically tolerates them. His ideal home would be one where he's the only cat. He has such a warm, loving, sweet nature and he loves being held by his caretaker and getting lots of attention from visitors. He's almost 7 years old now, and he would love a family of his very own.
