This Dog Has Been Waiting For a Home Longer Than Any Other Dog at Popcorn Park [VIDEO]

Meet "Bear". This dog has been waiting for a home for nearly 400 days now and hopes maybe this summer he'll finally get adopted! "Bear" has been waiting longer than any dog currently at the Popcorn Park Zoo!

Our friends at the Associated Humane Society shared a bit about "Bear's'" story:

Bear is a 10 year old shepherd mix that wonders if he'll ever get a great home of his own. He came to us in June, 2016 when his family had to give him up after adopting him as a puppy.  He was a bit depressed when he arrived and who could blame him, but Bear has put all of that behind him and is focused on the future. Bear is such a great guy with excellent manners.  He has had a lot of training in his life, so all of the work is done for you.  He is housebroken of course, and is always a perfect gentleman.  He can be a little shy when he meets new people, but just let him check you out for a few minutes and you'll be the best of friends.  He may be a little older and has some arthritis, but Bear still has plenty of spunk, is active and even playful from time to time, and he gets around just fine.  Unfortunately, Bear would do best as an only pet due to experiences in his past that have left him a bit apprehensive of other pets and small children.  Bear has so much love to give though that you won't need much else in your life. Please come in and meet our sweet boy Bear, and give him the great home he's so deserving of.
