Girl Scouts are adding their very first cookie made especially for Doggies

Honestly, this is the coolest thing, ever. I think the dogs of New Jersey are going to be pretty excited about this one.

I can already picture my three dogs, Taffy, Ace and Buca, waiting patiently for their turn. Well… maybe not so patiently!

The new dog treat is called Patch Pals, and it will make its debut when the Girl Scout Cookie season gets rolling in January 2027.

And yes, you read that right: a Girl Scout treat for dogs!

A Girl Scout Treat Made Just for Dogs

The treats will have a blueberry muffin flavor and will be soft-baked, making them easy for dogs to chew.

That sounds like a pretty good combination to me. Blueberry muffin flavor? Soft and chewy? I have a feeling Taffy, Ace and Buca will love this tasty treat.

And if your dog is anything like mine, they probably already know the sound of a cookie package opening from three rooms away!

New Jersey Dogs Can Get in on the Fun

The new Patch Pals treats are expected to become available as the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie season begins on January 12.

The annual cookie season generally continues through the spring, giving Girl Scout cookie fans plenty of time to stock up.

There is one important difference with the new offerings: Patch Pals will be available exclusively through online ordering.

So when January arrives, you'll want to keep an eye out online if you're hoping to get a box for your best friend.

And There's a New Cookie for People, Too!

The Girl Scouts aren't stopping with the dogs.

They're also introducing Sparkables, a new cookie for people that brings something different to the Girl Scout lineup.

Sparkables are being created with Partake and are described as crunchy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with colorful sprinkles. Even better, they're designed to avoid the nine major food allergens, including peanuts, wheat, tree nuts, eggs, milk, sesame, soy, shellfish and fish.

They're also the Girl Scouts' first vegan, gluten-free and allergen-friendly cookie.

Like Patch Pals, Sparkables will be sold exclusively online.

Don't Worry, Your Favorites Are Coming Back

Before anyone starts panicking about Thin Mints, don't worry!

The classics are still expected to return for the 2027 cookie season, including Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties and Trefoils.
