This Cutie is Ready For Your Family-Pet of the Week

This handsome little fellow needs a forever home!

This lucky little fella is Scottie, an Affenpinscher mix that is a little over 4 years old. Why is Scottie lucky? This little boy was found stuck in a flooded out drainage well and was facing a pretty sad fate. Fortunately someone spotted the struggling little guy and our AHS Assistant Director went out to the scene and rescued him from the mess he found himself in. He has been named Scottie, in honor of the man that saved his young life. Scottie was such a mess.....dirty, matted, and in need of lots of TLC. After he was given medical treatment and a much needed spa day, Scottie was looking good and feeling fine, and came down to us at Popcorn Park to find himself a great home. This little guy is so friendly and just happy to be alive. He's very outgoing and sociable, and seems to love everyone as soon as he's had a chance to do the sniff-test on them. Scottie is well behaved and the perfect gentleman on a leash. He's happy to chase after a ball, but not that into actually picking it up and playing with it. Scottie seems to like other dogs and would do best in a home with children over 10 years old. This sweet boy is so deserving of a family that will love and cherish him forever, and never let him go.
