There Won’t Be Any More Dunkin’ Donuts Starting In 2019

Get ready, Ocean County, when 2019 rolls around "Dunkin' Donuts" will become a thing of the past!

Ok, I'll confess - yes, I worded that very specifically and I put the name in quotes for a reason.

Don't worry, you'll still be able to get your favorite beverages and treats, but the chain is dropping "Donuts" from the name when the new year arrives.

CNN reports that as of January, the name will simply become "Dunkin'", and they're not wasting any time with the publicity:

The article points out that the idea is to spotlight their beverages, especially coffee, which makes up 60% of their sales.
