The Winner of the Zzak G. Applaud Spotlight Award 2020

Shawn and I love this foundation, the Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids.

It's simply amazing what they do for kids in our community. The mission of the Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids Foundation is to provide the opportunity for children with a financial need to creatively express themselves by taking lessons in the various disciplines of the performing arts. There are so many kids at the Jersey Shore that might not be able to live out their dreams and the Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids Foundation comes through for so many kids and families in a big way. They are truly a wonderful organization.

The Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids Hosts Step into Soiree, their big fundraiser, which was last week. This year was a little different because of Covid-19 and was all virtual with celebrity judges and awesome performers.

We had the privilege of interviewing the amazing, Denzel Rodriquez, who was the WINNER of the 2020 Zzak G. Applaud Spotlight Award 2020, here's his interview with us:👇👇👇

Denzel created and performed a rap song about mental health. Pretty incredible for an 18 year old, graduating from high school in 2021. It's been a rough year for everyone, even for teenagers and he reminds us of that. Congratulations, Denzel.

You can sponsor a child - For just a $60.00 donation you can give a child with a financial need living in a challenging environment the opportunity to take dance lessons for one month.

For just $120.00 a month a child will be able to take a vocal, acting, or instrumental music private lesson.
