If you've looked up at the summer sky above Ocean County lately you may have noticed a few unusually bright celestial bodies on show.

Look up and you'll be able to spot Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, and Mars all from right here at home.

Venus is super bright right next to the Moon right now and is easy to spot with your naked eye in the early evening:

Jupiter has also been showing up before darkness falls:

As we head further into summer, you'll also be able to spot a handful of other planets all without needing a telescope.
