Superstorm Sandy and the Seaside Boardwalk Fire changed Ocean County forever. A talented group of designers, producers, and journalists got together to make an interactive app to bring you right into the experiences on the Seaside Heights and Seaside Park boardwalks.

This is a project that I have been looking forward to talking about for a long time. I first met producers Benjamen Walker, Francessa Panetta and Ravenna Koenig last summer. The told me about their project - an interactive audio tour of the Seaside boardwalk, that would lead the user along the coast, and use your device's GPS to trigger firsthand stories that happened right where you're standing at the time.

I was intrigued and excited. I agreed to work with them immediately.

We spent a lot of time talking, and then a few hours in the studio where I recorded the narration while Benjamen, Francessa and Ravenna directed my voiceover.

It was a labor of love for everyone involved.

Things were going great and the project was right on track until September 12, 2013 when the massive blaze leveled the Seaside Park boardwalk.

Obviously, something as huge as that couldn't be ignored. So everyone got back together, wrote, produced, created, and included all new material to bring the boardwalk fire story into the experience.

After all of this hard work, I'm proud to announce that the app - "Boardwalk - Stories from Sandy" is now available at both the iTunes store and the Google Play store.

I'm really proud to have been a part of this project and hope that you enjoy it!
