Strict Liability Law

A Lakewood  man pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Ocean County Superior Court to charges in connection with the fatal heroin overdose death of the Seaside Heights Mayor's son, according to the Asbury Park Press.

An alleged drug dealer from Avon will be prosecuted under New Jersey's strict-liability law for allegedly supplying the heroin that killed a rehab patient in Rumson last year.
