SpaceX’s giant new rocket blasted off on its first test flight Thursday but exploded minutes after rising from the launch pad and crashed into the Gulf of Mexico.
The SpaceX "Falcon Heavy" rocket is set to launch from Kennedy Space Center at 3:45 this afternoon. When it does, it will become the most powerful rocket ever launched.
