Skycam 927

As you probably know, our parent company, Townsquare Media, runs a number of radio stations here at the shore. We're one big happy family and try to help each other out when we can. This week, our sister station, 105.7 The Hawk is running their annual "Ocean Of Love Billboard Radiothon".

There are two things that I love - toys, and hacks. So Skycam 927, the WOBM drone is the perfect thing for me to hack next. A little background first:

We hope you enjoyed Skycam 927's video of the Insane Inflatable 5K at Six Flags Great Adventure this past Saturday. It was a lot of fun to get unprecedented access to the Safari and aerial access to Kingda Ka and some of Great Adventure's other signature rides. Unfortunately, the day didn't end well for the WOBM Drone.

The bouncers were out in Jackson today, when the Insane Inflatable 5K took over Six Flags Great Adventure. The course went though the safari, with buffalo, deer, and the famous baboons looking on. Check out Skycam 927's video and see the runners, the animals, and Great Adventure's massive Kindga Ka from the sky!

Did you have a blast bouncing with us this past Saturday at the Insane Inflatable 5K in Brick? Maybe you weren't able to make it but want to experience the fun. Well, we have good news!

With over 3,000 bouncers, the Insane Inflatable 5K took over the Drum Point Sports Complex in Brick this morning. The thousands of racers had a blast, and Skycam 927 took it all in. Check it out:

I've talked many times about all the beautiful things that Ocean County has to offer. The only limit to those, however, was that it was all from the ground. What about from above?

America On Tap in Seaside Park was a rousing success again last night. With over 100 craft beers to enjoy, there was also music, entertainment, food, and a beautiful Ocean County Summer night! Check out the view from Skycam 927, including a gorgeous Seaside sunset:

Lemonade Day 2015 was a huge success on a perfect Summer Saturday in Ocean County. Skycam 927 was out at Fisher Blvd with the lemonade stands at Kearny Bank and The Four Seasons Diner, along with the WOBM Hometown Crew. Check out the view from above:
