After two consecutive days of testing that exceeds the maximum safe level a beach is closed.

From amusement rides, to all the boardwalk food and lots of water fun, Seaside Heights has endured as a family friendly spot for all ages.

Seaside Heights Mayor Tony Vaz said Gov. Phil Murphy has shown a commitment to his borough and they have a good give-and-take.

We love New Jersey and we know we live in the "best" place in the world. (Some might be smirking at that.)

In case you didn't know, Townsquare Media Jersey Shore operates 94.3 The Point, 92.7 WOBM, Beach Radio 104.1 FM, 105.7 The Hawk, and Shore Sports Network. On Wednesday night, all five brands came together and hosted our first ever Family Fun Fest at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights. A huge thank you to everyone who came out! The turnout was impressive and we greatly appreciate the support. Expect Townsquare Media Jersey Shore to continue to have more family-friendly events. We had a blast and we hope you did too!

A 7 foot great white shark was caught just ONE MILE from Seaside Heights! I know what you're thinking...ummmm...I just walked for a mile after dinner last night. A mile takes less than a minute in a car...a mile is...you know, CLOSE. There are thousands migrating north along the coast right now and I've got receipts.

This is totally my opinion, but living in Ocean County, you might never have done this.

Seaside Heights is right in our backyard and these 5 things are always fun to do.
