Sea Girt 5k

The 31st annual Sea Girt 5K in August will benefit The Ashley Lauren Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting New Jersey families affected by childhood cancer.

Of course, whenever there’s a cause affecting the hearts of the masses, scammers can try to take advantage. It is important to donate to trusted charities. There's a 5K event and charity operation out of Sea Girt that's helping in the best possible way. Here is how you can get involved.

Since 1994, Coastal Habitat For Humanity has changed the lives of hundreds of families throughout Monmouth County. For example, the organization has completed 18 single-family home construction projects, repaired over 40 homes impacted by Superstorm Sandy, and renovated 190 homes through the Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative. They simply do incredible things, and now we have the opportunity to not only help them but we can also help our veterans!!
