Several Facebook friends were sending this around, and it's "perfect" in the midst of the protests throughout the country and right here in Ocean County.

Mark your calendars for an awareness campaign taking place later this month by the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.

As I got choked up watching the skating exhibition, I realized what I love most about the event. It's a visual representation of what COULD be possible someday. Medalists from different countries worked together to perform a big group skate to a song from "The Greatest Showman." At the end, they all joined together for a massive group hug. My eyes welled up with tears. Wouldn't it be great if people of all nations could work together in harmony? Wouldn't it nice if governments could work out their differences?

The new year is right around the corner!  Many cultures believe that eating specific foods on the first day of the new year bring luck, wealth and prosperity. New Years Eve is a time for partying, forgetting the old year that has passed...
