As I mentioned yesterday, I just got back from a vacation to the Midwest. While there, I visited family and friends, but the big reason for the trip in the first place was "Major League Night" at The Milwaukee Brewers' Miller Park, featuring a bobblehead of Bob Uecker's iconic boozy broadcaster, Harry Doyle. But I noticed something interesting and disappointing at the game.

I don't have to tell you that we had a rough winter here in Ocean County. But as our thermometers flirt with 70 degrees today, all the signs of spring are coming together on this one day.

As we deal with yet another winter storm, a sure sign of spring is unfolding in Florida and Arizona - Spring Training Baseball. And along with a new baseball season, comes new ballpark treats. But have the Arizona Diamondbacks taken ballpark gluttony too far?

Last season, Ocean County came together in a bid to push hometown sports hero Todd Frazier to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. And now, during the off season, we can help again and get behind Todd to make him the "Face of MLB".

Toms River's very own All-Star, Todd Frazier will be on one of the biggest stages in American sports tonight as he swings for the fences in an annual pre-all star game tradition - The Home Run Derby.

Just moments ago, ESPN announced the starters and reserve players for the upcoming MLB All-Star Game and, as we had hoped, Toms River's Todd Frazier will be heading to Minnesota for the annual showcase of baseball's best.

Toms River High School South alum Todd Frazier needs our help to get to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. If we all come together on this, we can absolutely make a difference, too.
