The storm is responsible for dropping nearly 8-10 inches of rain across Central and North Jersey, three confirmed tornadoes and 23 reported deaths, according to New Jersey 101.5 Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow.
At least eight deaths were reported in New York City and New Jersey as relentless rain from the remnants of Hurricane Ida sent both areas into a state of emergency.
