Beachgoers in Point Pleasant Beach got a treat last week when a humpback whale was spotted right off of Manasquan Inlet, as the giant sea mammals are making their annual migration up the coast.
We are right in the middle of the whale migration season, and one boater off of the Chadwick Beach section of Toms River got a heck of a treat today. Check out this video that he captured only feet away from his boat:
Talk about an amazing nature shot right in our own backyard (relatively speaking). The Wildlife Conservation Society snapped this amazing photo of a humpback whale feeding less than six miles off the New Jersey/New York coast.
