The memories are always there, remember all the fun times, and many more fun times to come.

In years past, one of the most familiar ways that you could tell when the boardwalk would transition from Seaside Heights to Seaside Park was when you would begin walking among the booths and businesses that populated the middle of the boardwalk.

Owner says Seaside Park planning board's insistence rides by under 100 feet tall makes rebuilding the amusement unworkable.

The owners of Funtown Pier can submit construction plans immediately for the fire-damaged boardwalk after the Seaside Park Planning Board Tuesday night approved design plans for the section between Stockton and Porter Avenues.

It's been one week now since the horrible fire in Seaside Park.  The Seaside Park boardwalk destroyed Funtown Pier and the beloved carousel.
