Bubbakoo's Burritos

Ocean County based Bubbakoo's Burritos has been on something of a growth spurt so far this year, and they're showing no signs of slowing down with another ribbon cutting taking place this week.

I'm a big fan of Mexican food, so I think that the "fast casual" Mexican trend of the last two decades or so has been one of the best things to happen to lunch time in a long time.

It was only two weeks ago that we told you about Point Pleasant based Bubbakoo's Burritos' impending expansion into Howell. That was followed only days later when they dropped a surprise followup, announcing that they'll also be coming to Ocean Grove. Well, they weren't done!

Remember only days ago when we told you about Bubbakoo's Burritos, which started right here in Ocean County in 2008, announcing that their 12th location will be opening in Howell in the coming weeks? Well, it turns out that they had another surprise that they were holding close to the vest.

When I first moved to Ocean County 10 years ago this summer, a good friend of mine brought me to a new restaurant that had just opened on Bridge Avenue in Point Pleasant. Since that first meal at Bubbakoo's Burritos, I've been a fan. In the time since then, they've also expanded at a rapid pace and are poised to open another new location in the coming weeks.
