It's been freezing in New Jersey and I can't even imagine starting my car once and maybe even twice before I get in my car.
We have to start our cars if we're lucky enough to have a starter from the warmth of our home.

The absolute worst thing about winter is getting into a cold car. It doesn't matter how many layers you have on, hats and gloves, sometimes double gloves, the car is always cold.
My last car I had took so long to heat up. It's not the best way to start off your morning.
Finally, after all these years I have a car with a remote car starter and it's a gift. I finally understand why everybody that has one, loves them. It's a little piece of heaven, especially when I leave so early in the morning.

Well, I just did a little research, you guessed it. It is illegal warming up your car in New Jersey? WHAT? While your car is warming up, it's idling. Idling is good for the environment, so it's illegal. According to per NJ.gov, warming up your car is illegal in New Jersey.
Three minutes, 3 minutes only before violating the law. It could cost you $250 for the first offense, and more it will go up. Crazy...I let my car run for about 10 minutes, maybe longer. Yikes, I'm breaking a rule. But, I need a warm car.
