On a recent visit to a German restaurant in Philly, we enjoyed the live music that accompanied the meal.  The man playing the accordion walked around to each of the tables and made it a memorable evening.

It's been a while since I had that kind of experience while dining.  With hopes of getting a tip, strolling musicians gladly spend a little while serenading you and your party.  They'll often take requests or perform their version of the birthday song.

That experience got me thinking about the Bacchanal Restaurant in Atlantic City.  Did you ever go there?  I used to love the harpist who would play beautifully while we dined.

Are there any Jersey Shore restaurants that currently feature strolling musicians?  And where do you like to go to hear any kind of live music while you're eating dinner, even the non strolling kind? Please use the Comments section to tell us where we can all enjoy some roving instrumentalists.
