Splended Sights From a Nasty Nor’easter At The Jersey Shore (Pictures)
From Ocean County to Monmouth County and throughout New Jersey, a nasty nor'easter is leaving heavy snow and wind. Thankfully, it's creating some really cool photos and our amazing listeners have shared them with us.
My son Alex (pictured above) and I got a good dose of shoveling AND snowball fighting in last night. We live in Bayville and Sunday was very snowy. I'd guestimate 3+ inches yesterday. It was good for packing snowballs too. Not quite ELF style (picture Will Ferrell throwing 10 at a time) but still very good.
Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow tells us that we are currently (as of 1 pm on Monday 2/1) in phase 2 of 4. The temperatures have gotten warmer and there's more rain. But more snow IS on the way. And win. And coastal flooding. Yikes.
I hope you and your family can enjoy the snow and maybe a work from home or school from home day or two! Thanks to everyone that sent us pictures. I hope you enjoy.
