It has been making wonderful memories for families for 66 years. It's the fantastic Storybook Land in Egg Harbor Township that opened in 1955. It is an amazing theme park that salutes the stories we have grown up with over the years. Attractions like the Three Little Pigs, Mother Goose, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and Jill, Three Bears, and Santa Claus.

The park includes rides like the Rock Spin Roll, the Candy Cane Express, Happy Dragon, Alice’s Tea Time, Turtle Twirl, and the J and J Railroad.....to name a few.

Hungry while making memories with your family? Storybook Land has several great eateries at the park too. Including the Dining Depot, The Gingerbread House, Mistress Mary’s Garden Goodies,  Caboose Cafe, and Little Jack Horner’s Picnic Corner. So something for everyone while having fun.

Our kids grew up going to Storybook Land, both Zach and Erin enjoyed the park as did my wife and I. I want to go back again now after writing this article and spend the day there. Fun for the whole family 👪

If you haven't been to Storybook Land you have to put it on your list of things to do this summer. It is a place to bring out the kid in all of us, just about an hour from parts of Ocean County....well worth the drive and conveniently located on the Black Horse Pike in Atlantic County.
