
Slow Go! Construction Continues in Downtown Toms River, New Jersey
If you are an early morning riser and you are heading through the Downtown Toms River area it may be a slow go for you with construction continuing in portions on Main Street and Washington Street.

According to Toms River Township, "All paving will take place at night, with employees working from around 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting."

If you are an early morning commuter just keep in mind there may be slowdowns with the morning commute and some of the construction may take a bit to wrap up each morning as the morning drive commute becomes busier and more congested through sections of Downtown Toms River over the next few days.
Construction through the next few days will continue. Officials say they hope to wrap up shortly with the work being down.
According to the Toms River, website construction will affect the area. "Where the paving project is taking place, there may be some temporary traffic disruptions, and Washington Street in both directions will be temporarily closed with adequately posted diversion signs to warn vehicles and residents of the impacted areas. Drivers are advised to exercise caution when passing through construction zones."
