A Thrilling Skeleton Run this Halloween in New Jersey
Something is chilling and thrilling this Halloween.
How about a Halloween 5K like no other, so they say.
In October, this spooky run is coming to the storied grounds of Fort Monmouth.
This seems pretty cool, from runsignup.com/skeletonrun: "Join the skeleton army as it runs through a winding path filled with surprises at every turn. A skeleton suit will be provided for the first 1,500 runners, but don’t let that stop you from getting in the Halloween spirit. Costumes of all kinds are highly encouraged for all participants."
Surprises will be given at the finish line.
The Skeleton Run will have ports from the event go to HABcore. HABcore and their mission is to provide housing and individualized support for homeless families with children, veterans, and individuals with special needs. For more information about HABcore, click here.
If you're anything like me, a 5K might scare you. As I was reading more about this fabulous, Halloween run, I learned you can walk. It's a 5K walk/run, so that's good to know.

If you don't want to be a part of the 5K or you're away, you can still donate to this run and portions of the proceeds go to that great organization.
If anyone has been to the Asbury Park Santa Run, the Skeleton Run is from the same group that brings us that fun event in Asbury. It's a run not to miss. Maybe do something a little different this Halloween.
